The USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC) has announced their 5th Solo Harp Composition Contest, to take place in conjunction with the 10th USA International Harp Competition to be held in summer, 2016. Over 250 composers from 40 countries have participated in previous composition contests sponsored by the USAIHC. The contest winner will receive a $2,000 cash prize and have their composition featured as a required third-stage repertoire selection for USAIHC competitors. The piece will also be programed on Gold Medalist debut recitals and be published by Lyon & Healy.
