Young Artist’s Harp Seminar

What makes this camp experience unique is:

"Students who are serious about the harp and want to meet like-minded peers and professionals."

This camp is perfect for:

"Total immersion in the harp; first rate faculty/guest artists, perfect balance of work and fun"

Students come back year after year for our camp's:

"Outstanding training and performance environment and to reconnect with the YAHS family."

Founded in 2002, the Young Artist’s Harp Seminar has become one of the pre-eminent summer training programs for today’s young harpists. YAHS alumni have gone on to attend major music schools and conservatories around the world, including Juilliard, the Curtis Institute of Music, the Paris Conservatory, and many others. The program is designed to improve performance skills and practice habits and intensify preparation for solo performances, orchestral auditions, and competitions through interaction with our distinguished Artist Faculty and Guest Artists.

The Preparatory Division is designed for lever and pedal harpists at a beginning to intermediate level, who may not be ready for the full YAHS experience. Prep harpists will participate in harp ensemble, receive private lessons, perform in concert, take part in outdoor and recreational activities, and experience fun workshops created especially by the Duo Scorpio staff.
