Sivan Magen Releases “Fantasien”

Kudos to Sivan Magen for his April 9 profile in the classical music section ofThe Telegrah. The article follows the recent release of Magen’s new “Fantasien” CD on the Linn Records label. The disc includes compositions by Bach, Brahms, Mozart, along with harpist composers Henriette Renie and Ekaterina Walter-Kühne, “in order to stay as true to the great Germanic masters and the French and Russian Romantics as possible,” says Magen in his notes on the recording.
