Registration is now open for the 11th AHS Institute, to be held June 21–24 at Utah State University, in Logan, Utah. The event designed for students is sponsored by the American Harp Society and is held in alternate years from the AHS National Conference. The schedule includes performances, workshops, the biennial AHS National Competition, and the Lyon & Healy Awards competition, to be held just before the start of the Institute. The 11th Institute will also host a new “Orchestra Project,” giving select students the opportunity to receive coaching from mentors while performing standard harp repertoire with the Utah Festival Opera orchestra.
