Lyon & Healy Harps will host three weekend harp events throughout the U.S. this year as part of its new Harptacular series. “Harptacular will bring a unique learning, networking, and performance opportunity to cities across the country.” says the company. The events will include an exhibit of Lyon & Healy and Salvi pedal and lever harps, a recital by local harpists, and a masterclass and recital by an international guest artist. Lyon & Healy will also present workshops on amplification, technology, and harp maintenance.

Featured artists for the debut events include Maria Luisa Rayan (Denver, Colo. April 21–23); Bridget Kibbey (Columbia, Mo., June 2–4); and Elizabeth Hainen (Dallas, Texas, Oct 20–22), who will be joined by local harpists. Student soloists and ensembles are also invited to perform in a closing Student Showcase concert at each event.

Harptacular is free to participants, however registration is required. Visit www.lyonhealy.com/harptacular for more information.
