Lyon & Healy has announced details for the next Lyon & Healy Awards, which will take place June 22–24, 2017, prior to the American Harp Society 12th Summer Institute in Northfield, Minn. The biennial award competition is open to members of the American Harp Society under the age of 30. Three winners will each receive $2,000, along with a $500 gift certificate to Lyon & Healy Harps.
Require repertoire for the 2017 awards includes “Impromptu,” by Rheinhold/Hainen; “Granada,” by Agustin Lara/Salzedo; and “The Moldau,” by Smetana/Trneček
