IV International Mexican Harp Competition and Festival 2016

The competition, being held in Mexico City between January 18-24, is open to harpists of all nationalities that have not passed their 35th birthday before January 1, 2016.  For those who hope to compete, send the following items to ihcfmex@gmail.com on or before November 1, 2015:

  • Proof of age – attach a photo of passport or birth certificate
  • Two letters of recommendation from musical authorities, one of them must be the applicant’s teacher, sent as an attachment
  • Two publicity photos suitable for reproduction sent as an attachment
  • The list of repertoire to be performed at the contest and photocopies
  • Record one of the repertoire of the first stage and upload to YouTube (video must be listed as “”Public” or “Unlisted,” videos listed as “Private” will not be considered) – required for all 4 divisions
  • Entry fee: Young Professional Division and Intermediate II Division: $100/ Intermediate I Division and Junior Division: $60

Participation in the USA International Harp Competition with all expenses paid
Solo Recital in the Zagred Harp Festival
2nd Prize – $1,100

Intermediate II Division:
