    Yesterday I experimented by taking a guitar along with me to a lesson so that I could quickly demonstrate how the sound of a minor chord differs from the major and it worked really well. This particular pupil can’t easily assimilate music theory & what’s going on with all the keys and pedals but there is nothing wrong with his hearing and aural analysis. Using the guitar for chords was so much quicker than pedals and levers and caught his interest.
