    Dear Harpers and Harpists

recently I bought 21 string folk harp, and started to learn.

Unfortunatelly, my main instrument is bagpipe,

and I am not familiar with playing the main melody

    and accompaniament together.

Could you please advice me a self-training

book how to learn Celtic Music on harp?

We do not have many celtic harp teachers in Poland 🙂

    Best regards

    Hi Pawel,

I’m a harp teacher from Hungary and we haven’t many celtic harps or celtic harp

teachers too 🙂 But: why don’t you ask a classic harp teacher to start teaching you?

I have bought a celtic harp (because I’ve no money for a concert-harp), I was

searching for Celtic tunes in catalogues and on the internet, and I tried them…be sure

about there is no big difference between the two instruments…for the first time 🙂

But if you want to do it alone here you can find the most popular and simple book

from a famous celtic harper, Sylvia Woods
