NYC INTERNATIONAL HARP FESTIVAL
February 23, 2018, 7:00 pm - February 24, 2018, 9:00 pm
The International Harp Festival comes to New York City
This coming February 23rd-24th, we will hold activities of the International Harp Festival for the first time in New York City. Hosted at Taller Latinoamericano in Spanish Harlem, this festival is organized by the Toulouse Foundation and will welcome some of the most acclaimed harpists representing the musical traditions of Mexico, Paraguay, Venezuela, and the United States.
As explains maestro Angel Tolosa and Jose Luis Tolosa, this International Harp Festival will be a great opportunity for New Yorkers to enjoy the both versatility of the harp as an instrument, as well as the diversity of world music cultures.
We will hold two nights of music where audience members can hear the artistry of musicians including Silvio Solís (Paraguay), Elea Gamboa (Mexico), Enrique Escajeda (Mexico), and Odarka Polanski (US).
Dates: February 23rd-24th, 2018 (Friday and Saturday)
Location: Taller Latinoamericano, 215 E 99th Street, Lower Level, New York, NY 10029.
