CCM is a conservatory within the University of Cincinnati, which allows students to take courses in any discipline as well as pursue intense music studies while having a traditional American college experience at a research university. Cincinnati has a booming music community and rich arts tradition. The harp students are from the highest level, many coming from top conservatories in the US and abroad. Jacquelyn Davis joined the faculty in 2022 to teach a 2 hour weekly pedagogy course and we have had two famous visiting harpists give masterclasses each year. Undergraduate receive weekly lessons with the Graduate Assistant as well.

The CCM students love the class atmosphere where they are motivated to push themselves to succeed and are inspired by their classmates, but also are encouraged to take risks in class to learn how to perform confidently under pressure. CCM students have had many opportunities to perform with orchestra and chamber ensembles in town and in the region including with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, Nashville Symphony, Columbus Symphony, West Virginia Symphony and many others.
