Chen-Yu Huang Wins Illinois Symphony Audition

Chen-Yu Huang is the winner of the Illinois Symphony Audition.

Chen-Yu Huang is now harpist with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra following a November 19, 2012, audition. Chen-Yu is from Tainan, Taiwan, and is currently working on her Doctoral degree and Artist Diploma at the University of Illinois as a student of Ann Yeung. Prior to moving to the U.S., she studied with with Shannon Chieh, Chi-Mei Hung, and Bi-Ya Lin. Chen-Yu also serves as a teaching assistant at the University of Illinois and teaches at Illinois Wesleyan University.
