The Camac Festival will head to the U.S. November 3–5, 2017. All events take place at the Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria, in Alexandria, Va., just outside of Washington, D.C. The festival is co-sponsored by Camac Harps and the Virginia Harp Center.

French harpist Isabelle Moretti will give the opening concert. Other featured performers include harp and vocal duo Addi & Jacq, the contempory ensemble Apple Orange Pair with harpist Colleen Thorburn, soloist Janice Hur, and jazz harpist Charles Overton. Nikolaz Cadoret will close the festival, joined by The Maryland Classic Youth Harp Ensemble and Peabody Institute Preparatory Harp Ensembles. The festival will also include workshops, a masterclass with Isabelle Moretti, performances, and free Camac harp regulations by technician Liza Jensen.

“The Camac Festivals are a fixture of our season,” says the company on its blog. Events are held annually in different locations throughout France, and debuted last year in the U.S. in Pasadena.
