Camac Competition in London Announces Winners

The results of the Camac Harp Competition of the North London Festival 2017 have just been announced. Participation in the competition is open to harpists in the United Kingdom and Ireland, under the age of 30. The winners were selected by jury members Ieuan Jones and Rachel Masters, following two rounds – the first round on Sunday, April 30th and the final on Monday, May 1st.

First Prize – Noelia Cotuna
£500 plus a performance on June 30th, 2017 as part of Proms at St Jude’s.

Second Prize – Nicolette Chin
£200

Third Prize – Milo Harper
£100

UKHA Prize – Lucy Nolan & Rebecca McIlroy
Awarded for the best performance of a work by a UK composer played by a candidate in any round of the competition.
