Boldachev Bedazzles

April 28, 2016

We can’t stop listening to Sasha Boldachev’s rendition of “The Nightengale” (or “Rossignol”) by Alexander Alyabiev. Composed in 1825, the piece has been adapted by many artists throughout the years, most notably Liszt. Russian harpist Boldachev recorded his version in a live performance at the Mchedelov Festival in Moscow. Read more about him at www.boldachev.info and on Facebook. Enjoy!
