Granados Dances from Marguerite Lynn Williams

April 19, 2014

Hot off the press, Marguerite Lynn Williams has just sent us her new arrangements of  three of the  popular “Danza Espagnolas” by Enrique Granados. Written by the Spanish composer as a collection of 12 dances for solo piano, Lynn has chosen “Orientale” (No. 2), “Danza Triste” (No. 10), and “Bolero Arabesca” (No. 12) to arrange for four harps.

Since we don’t have a recording yet of the 4-harp version, we’ll tempt you with this guitar adaption of Andrés Segovia playing No. 10, “Danza Triste.” Enjoy!
