Harpist Elizabeth Smart

I just read her book. It’s called MY STORY.
It reads like a detective novel, but unfortunately it really happened to her.
She mentions the harp only a couple of times. She is an amazing survivor. I knew about her abduction, and I found the book hard to put down. I was so glad to get to the part where she is rescued.

I hope it will remind people to have a security system for their house. Burglar bars are good because no one can get in the doors or windows. (The window was where her abductor got into the house.)

I had hoped that with her exposure, she might have become a national spokeswoman for the harp. Maybe she will yet come to do that? But I’m not holding my breath.
