An exciting day for you to be sure. Sadly your non-harp playing co-workers might not understand your inability to focus on your work today. But rest assured, each and every one of us who ever had a harp delivered understands EXACTLY what you are going through.
Pat, your problem with the last photo is that you seem to have copied the URL from the address bar instead of right-clicking the photo and copying the image address itself. So it requires a facebook login to see the photo. (If I didn't happen to have a facebook account I couldn't have gotten there to help.) By copying the actual photo address you can get around that.
I've named him Galen, which is Gaelic for "calm," and "tranquil." But in fact he has all the power and volume of my L&H Style 85GP. In Greek it means "healer."
Oh wow, Pat....it's just beautiful. I see you got the extra string at the bottom, too. Kerstin has the same on hers. I love it.....and I love that is has Camac levers. What a gorgeous instrument. Bill does such excellent work. Enjoy it for many years!
I haven't seen any sound clips on the web, but if you contact Bill Webster I think he has a CD he could send you.
The sound of this harp is amazingly loud and full. It's volumn is at least as much as my L&H Style 85, but the bass is deeper and rounder sounding. The upper registers are more bell-like, but not was much as Bill's Cecilia model.
Pat- I hadn't seen these photos- love them. Only a couple of weeks now... I can hardly wait!
Karen- Bill has been great to work with. I believe you saw my blog photos of my harp in progress. I highly recommend him- I am sure I will love my harp- I was able to go and see/hear one before I did buy. If you contact him he may be able to tell you where someone who has purchased one is if they are close enough. I also saw he is going to be at the harp festival in a few months (wish I could go). Good luck.
