If you have questions about the Harp Column online classifieds, please email our Ad Administrator
A: Sometimes. One "harp for sale" ad per issue is free to magazine subscribers. All other ads are $20 for up to 20 words. You will find payment details and word-counting instructions on the confirmation page for your ad.
A: Roughly 60 days. Your ad will appear online and in the print edition of Harp Column from the date it is approved, through the release date of the next issue. So if you place an ad in May, it will appear in the July issue of the magazine, and disappear from harpcolumn.com on September 1.
A: Email our Ad Administrator to extend your ad. You can cancel an ad right here on harpcolumn.com.
Lyon & Healy Harps, Inc. warrants apply to the original purchaser of the harp. Warrants are non-transferable. Warranties and the Bounty program are valid only when harps are purchased through an authorized Lyon & Healy dealer. If you have any questions about the purchase of a Lyon & Healy harp, contact Lyon & healy at 800-621-3881.
We have recently received a number of questions from Harp Column users about people trying to "purchase" your instrument with a cashier's check for more than the value of the instrument. The "purchaser" then asks that you send back a cashier's check for the difference between the purchase price and the amount of the check they send you. THIS IS A NEW ONLINE SCAM, DO NOT FALL FOR IT! The "Cashier's Check" the perpetrators of this scam send you appears to be good, but it will eventually be rejected by your bank, and you will be out the money you have sent to the fraudsters. If you do receive inquiries of this kind, we recommend you either ignore them, or report them to your local police or the FBI. Sorry for the inconvenience!
